Changes for Students in UCLA Housing

Students set out for class from De Neve Plaza.

UCLA Housing recently distributed an outline of housing-specific OneBill changes for student residents, which is summarized below:

Billing Schedule

Undergraduates (Quarterly Plan)

Your winter quarter housing bill will be due December 20, 2022, which is the same due date for winter quarter tuition.

Graduates (Monthly Plan)

Housing has transitioned to align monthly due dates with campus billing dates. The monthly housing bill for November will still be due November 20.

Funding Disbursements

After OneBill is implemented, funding that goes through BruinBill for disbursement (e.g. financial aid, stipends, etc.), will automatically cover your tuition charges as well as your housing charges (including December rent or winter quarter housing), where applicable.

If you are an undergraduate receiving quarterly financial aid, you may not have to wait for a BruinBill refund to manually pay your housing bill.

Payments

You will make payments for housing charges via the BruinBill, like you have previously. Payments made after November 3 will be posted to the new Regular Term Bill account on BruinBill.

BruinPay Plan for Regular Term Bill will be available for students to sign up for from December 1 through 20 for winter quarter or spring semester, and will include housing fees.

Support

The OneBill Initiative will improve student financial support by providing a central location for billing inquiries, the Student Accounts Office.
